Position Summary
The On-the-Job Trainee (OJT) will gain practical experience by supporting day-to-day operations within their assigned department. This internship program provides exposure to actual projects, industry best practices, professional work environments, and collaborative teamwork within the construction and design-build industry.
The trainee will work closely with department heads and project teams while developing technical, organizational, and professional skills relevant to their field of study.
Key Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
- Assist assigned department in daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Participate in meetings, project discussions, and team activities when applicable.
- Prepare reports, presentations, documentation, and project-related materials.
- Conduct research and data gathering to support department initiatives.
- Maintain organized records and files.
- Observe company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.

Department-Specific Responsibilities
Engineering / Construction Management OJT
- Assist in project monitoring and documentation.
- Support preparation of project reports and schedules.
- Help coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Participate in site inspections and project meetings when required.
- Assist in quantity take-offs and project documentation.
Architecture / Interior Design OJT
- Assist in preparing design presentations and mood boards.
- Support drafting and revisions using design software.
- Assist in material research and specification documentation.
- Participate in design coordination meetings.
- Help prepare project renderings and client presentations.
Business Development OJT
- Research potential clients, industries, and market opportunities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and company profiles.
- Support lead generation and CRM database management.
- Participate in client engagement and business development activities.
- Help organize networking and marketing initiatives.
Marketing OJT
- Assist in content creation for social media, website, and marketing campaigns.

- He/She provides support to the company's day-to-day operations by recording and processing financial transactions.

- Review all related construction plans such as blueprint, as-built, layout, render, and others.
- Put together and utilize current market unit costs per respective trade for materials and labor.
- Maintain and update the internal database for unit costs per respective trade for materials and labor.
- Tender accurate and timely Bill of Materials/Quantity for each client.

- Points out possible quality issues by being physically present onsite.
- Raises quality issues onsite with the assigned Project Manager (PM) and works with the concerned subcontractors in rectifying the raised quality issues.
- Produces an internal punch list document mid-build and towards the end of the build that contains photos and a detailed description of every punch list item.
- Provides the Project Manager and all project team members of Corebilt with copies of the punch list files.
