Job Description
The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring that the Safety Program is strictly implemented in all of Corebilt’s project sites.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Reports to the assigned project site daily and oversees safety compliance of workers for various scopes of work in the project site.
- Disciplines all suppliers and subcontractors by issuing site reminders, safety rules and regulations, notices of non-compliance (if any), and all other safety-related documentation.
- Leads the toolbox meeting for all workers in the project site every morning or prior to the start of the work shift in the project site.
- Assists the Project Manager in accomplishing work permits, gate passes, and other requirements to ensure successful entry of workers to the project site when there is no Project Coordinator assigned to the site.
Qualifications
- College graduate.
- 3-5 years’ work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Disciplined.
- Good work ethics.
- Must be able to work effectively with various members of the project team assigned to a site.
- COSH and OSH, Safety Officer Level 3-5.
- NCII is a plus, but not required.
- Must have a fit-to-work medical certificate.
